This tour gives you a comprehensive and unique look at beautiful Sri Lanka. This cycling expedition focuses on some of the less-frequented, hidden treasures spread throughout the country along with some of the best attractions.

Your start-up location will be in Negombo. From here, you will ride to Sigiriya, where you will be able to explore its ancient rock fortress, once used by King Kashyapa to rule his kingdom. You can then visit Polonnaruwa, which is the country’s second oldest kingdom. Cycle through its ruins and take a closer look at Sri Lanka’s rich history.

Dambana is up next; this is your chance to feel a part of your surroundings and mingle with the local residents. Experience the warmth of Sri Lankans before heading to the country’s hill capital of Kandy. With its own unique blend of culture and history, Kandy is considered a tourist hotspot. Ride through this amazing city and experience firsthand its splendour.

It’s on to the picturesque Nuwara Eliya. Surrounded by breathtaking mountain ranges and waterfalls, this little slice of heaven is famous for its tea estates and chilly breeze. Explore the Horton Plains National Park both by bike and by foot with a chance to get close to nature.

You can then explore traditional rural village life with a visit to the villages of Belihuloya. This is where the cycling tour really shines, as you get to interact with the locals and understand their ways of life.

We’ll take you next to Udawalawe, where you will encounter some of Sri Lanka’s exotic bird and animal species. The Udawalawe National Park is one of the island’s most popular wildlife sanctuaries and guarantees its visitors a look at an elephant. It is also home to several species of birds and a few leopards.

You will next visit the Sinharaja rainforest, which is considered a World Heritage Site. Teeming with life, this Wet Zone forest is a lively melting pot of a dazzling array of wildlife species.

Lastly, the tour takes you the southern coast where you can enjoy the beach and do a little exploring as well. Galle offers up its pristine beaches and warm waters to soothe and relax you while it also contains some renowned historical attractions including the famous Dutch fort.

Come take a journey across the beautiful isle of Sri Lanka, with a look at some of its hidden treasures. This is your opportunity to see a side of Sri Lanka that is seldom seen.
